    Zach Whitehead, DVM

    Dr. Whitehead grew up in the Washington, Missouri area where he attended Saint Francis Borgia Regional High School. He then attended the University of Missouri where he completed his undergraduate studies and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 2008. After receiving his D.V.M. degree, he completed an intensive small animal internship at Central Texas Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Austin Texas.

    Doug Krofft, DVM

    Dr. Krofft is originally from St. Joseph MO., graduated from the University Of Missouri School Of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. He previously attended Missouri University at Columbia where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. Upon graduation from veterinary college, Dr. Krofft joined the Ellisville Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Krofft has served as the vice president,

    Mindy Walstra-Hummel, DVM

    Dr. Mindy Walstra-Hummel graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.  Since that time she has been practicing companion animal medicine in a variety of roles.  From full-time veterinarian to relief veterinarian, she has had many experiences that have shaped and honed her skills as general practitioner today.

    Craig Hummel, DVM

    Dr. Hummel received his veterinary degree from Purdue University and was in private practice in the Chicago suburbs for 7 years before moving to St. Louis. Professionally, Dr. Hummel has many interests but greatly enjoys surgery, getting to know patients and clients, and equipping clients with all of the tools and information necessary to care for their furry companions.

    Carter Smith, DVM

    Dr. Smith was born and raised in St. Louis, graduated from John Burroughs School and earned a B.A. from the College of Wooster in Ohio. He attended veterinary school for two years at the University di Pisa in Italy before transferring back to the University Of Missouri College Of Veterinary Medicine and graduating in 1980. Dr. Smith owned the Ellisville Veterinary Hospital from 1985 until 2019.
